In an event held last week in Nanjing (China), Nokia unveiled the Nokia 6208c handset, a new pen input device which caters for a number of different customers, specifically those in China. The touch screen on the Nokia 6208c mobile phone is optimized to write Chinese characters and messages in the most natural way, with a pen. The design of the stylus, attached to the back of the Nokia 6208c phone, is inspired by bamboo slips and works perfectly with the large color display which is reminiscent of an ink stone, another element from traditional Chinese art and culture. Nokia announced that it has expanded its Supernova cell phone range with fresh, new colours reflecting the latest runway trends, as well as enhanced new services. The Nokia Supernova 7610, 7510, 7310 and 7210 cell phones are now available in additional colours including Graphite and Passionate Purple. Building on the existing music and entertainment experiences offered by the Nokia Supernova handset range, the enhanced services let people share their images and video with friends through Ovi Share, as well as keep up to date with friends via Nokia Maps and instant messaging with Windows Live Messenger.
