LG VX9400 to join Verizon Family

The LG VX9400, only the 2nd Verizon handset to offer the new VCast Mobile TV service, is anticipated to join the Verizon line-up come the 23rd of March. The handset features a 262k color QVGA display that is able to rotate from Portrait to Landscape mode independent of the rest of the phone’s body for Mobile TV viewing. It also carries a 1.3MP camera with video recording capability, MP3/WMA music player, microSD expansion slot, and Bluetooth connectivity.

The anticipated price for this handset will be at $249 with a 2-year contract, and at $299 with a 1-year subscription, excluding the $50 mail-in rebait. The handset will also be available at the full retail price of $369.
